After waiting over two hours to download the demo (because of a yahoo! mishap with their servers) I was so impatient I had to download the demo from 3 different providers. Where did I download the demo you might be  thinking, to be honest, Yahoo!, Filefront and lastly  Fileplanet (granted in the end Yahoo! ended up finishing before the other two since I had started that earlier). I was just too impatient and I thought that Yahoo! would fail to provide me what I wanted (The COD4:MW Demo) and making me having to wait yet another day to play the game. Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (COD4:MW) is the highly awaited first-person shooter, with it’s revamped graphics and exciting multiplayer experience Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is sure to entertain many gamers. Late Monday evening a few tidbits began to roll out revealing some information on the upcoming update for Games For Windows - LIVE for the PC.

As you know, several games have launched under the new Games For Windows - LIVE that allow PC Games to tap into Microsoft’s Xbox LIVE service. A few games that have been designed specifically for Games For Windows - LIVE are Halo 2 for Windows Vista, Shadowrun which is a cross-platform game that allows gamers to play with gamers on the Xbox 360 console. Microsoft has made the decision to "Pull the plug" on Internet Explorer 7 (IE7) validation. This means that users of Windows XP will now be able to download IE7 with having to go through the Windows Genuine Advantage authentication in-order to install and download the software.

Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA) is part of Microsoft’s Genuine Software Initiative. Windows Genuine Advantage is designed to help prevent the distribution and unauthorized use of it’s Windows Operating Systems. Previously, Microsoft required users of Windows XP to validate their version of Windows XP in order to download and install Internet Explorer 7.
