It looks like Microsoft is prepared to release the final versions of its second wave of software for Windows Live. As you may know Microsoft released public test versions of Windows Live Mail, Messenger, Writer, Photo Gallery, and Family Safety on September 5th, 2007. Included in the beta 2 releases for the aforementioned Windows Live software was a new unified installer (or better known as Windows Live Suite).

The unified installer allows the end user to easily and seamlessly install Windows Live applications more quickly and more efficiently. Additionally, you can choose which Windows Live products you want to install via the Windows Live Suite Setup page (link coming soon).

Microsoft will be releasing the newly updated Windows Live Suite (which is compatible with Windows XP and Windows Vista x64 platforms) along with the final versions of:

  • Windows Live Mail
  • Windows Live Messenger
  • Windows Live Writer
  • Windows Live Photo Gallery
  • Windows Live Family Safety

Starting Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at 11:00pm Pacific Standard Time, you will be able to download and install the final versions of Microsoft’s Windows Live software. Additionally, as we have stated time and time again "When is Microsoft going to open registration for the @live.com email addresses?" Well we wont need to wonder "When" anymore Microsoft will open up registration to the general public for @live.com addresses along with the second wave of Windows Live Applications.

Stay tuned, We will have a lot more posts tomorrow once we get more information!
