Microsoft has said previously that the company intends to ship Windows Vista Service Pack 1 before the end of the first quarter this year. With the service pack reaching the final stages in testing, Microsoft is getting ready to deliver the much anticipated update to Windows Vista.
Currently Service Pack 1 for Windows Vista is in the Release Candidate stage of development, in addition, the company released what they call the Windows Vista Service Pack 1 RC Refresh build a couple of weeks back to the public. The company is currently working on fixing any bugs in the latest release, the company has set the release date for the service pack.
Additionally, the company has set the date for the long awaited service pack, according to sources Microsoft could ship the final version of Windows Vista Service Pack 1 as early as February 15, 2008. However, I have heard several times the company will release the final version of Windows Vista SP1 on February 27, 2008 when the company launches Windows Server 2008.
